A domain name is what visitors type in to access your website online (for example www.DentistDesign.com).
Domain names are given out on a “first come first serve” basis. That is why it is important to register your name as early as possible, even if you don’t plan to develop your website immediately. Once you register a domain it is yours as long as you keep paying the small yearly fee necessary to hold the name.
